The Scarf Tree Brought to you by glatfelter
Truly a favorite of the museum! This giant metal vacuum powered tree allows children to feed brightly colored scarves into different access points on the tree's trunk. Then step back and watch as the scarves are carried away in winding tubes until they are finally shot out of the tree's top!
THE PRETEND HOSPITAL BROUGHT TO YOU BY ADENA MEDICAL CENTER
Calling all future doctors! At the pretend hospital kids are invited to imagine what it's like to be a doctor. Our exhibit comes complete with everything a young doctor needs! From the tools of the trade to the X-ray machine kids can let there imaginations run wild! There are babies to take care of in the nursery and a play ambulance just in case of an emergency!
THE MIGHTY WATER TABLE in honor of john robertson
Step right up and explore the wonders of water! Send boats racing down the various streams. See a real working water vortex, or just push any of the various knobs and buttons and see what happens. Control the currents and reroute waterways. Don't worry, we have aprons to keep you dry.
The dig site brought to you by hopewell national park
For the young up and coming archaeologists there is a place just for you! While building the Mighty Museum signs of the ancient Hopewell Native American tribe were discovered. In our pretend dig site children can used the provided tools to dig and discover artifacts left behind from the ancient tribe!
THE MIGHTY GIANT LITE BRITE BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE PIONEER CENTER
It's exactly what it sounds like. Imagine a Lite Brite bigger than you!
farm to market brought to you by the community of chillicothe
Children get to be a part of the farm to market experience. Pick your fresh produce, take it to market and ring it out to the customer! Lose yourself in imagination with this hands on farm exhibit. Don't forget to check the hens for eggs!
The infant area brought to you by mcdonalds
This one is for the super littles. Rest easy as your infant can explore the infant area. This carpeted area contains "infant friendly" exhibits that are soft, vinyl, and sharp corner free!
